NOTICE TO BIDDERS
INC. VILLAGE OF SANDS POINT
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT pursuant to Resolution 07232019-06 adopted by the Sands Point Village Board of Trustees on July 23, 2019, sealed proposals will be received by the Office of the Village Clerk of the Village of Sands Point, located on 26 Tibbits Lane, Sands Point, New York 11050, until 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at which time they will be publicly opened and read and the Contract awarded as soon thereafter as practicable for the:
COLLECTION, REMOVAL & DISPOSAL OF PUTRESCIBLE AND NONPUTRESCIBLE SOLID WASTE AND RECYCLABLES
Instructions to Bidders, Proposal, Form of Agreement and Specifications may be obtained at the Office of the Village Clerk, 26 Tibbits Lane on or after Wednesday, November 27, 2019 during normal business hours, Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A charge of fifty ($50.00) dollars, non-refundable, in the form of a check or money order only, made payable to the Incorporated Village of Sands Point, will be required for each set of plans and specifications.
No bids shall be received unless made in writing on forms furnished and unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount equal to not less than five (5) percent of the highest amount bid.
The Board of Trustees reserves the right to waive any informality in the bids or to reject all bids or to accept any bid which in the opinion of the Board of Trustees will be in the best interest of the Village.
