GARBAGE COLLECTION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Russell Gardens invites bids for the removal and disposition of
garbage, refuse, recyclables, etc. from the Village for a one-year period
commencing March 1, 2019 with an option for the Village to extend the contract
for two additional years.
PARTICULARS as to the Village requirements and the form of contract
may be obtained upon request at the office of the Village Clerk, 6 Tain Drive,
Russell Gardens, New York to whom all bids shall be submitted
in writing no later than 2:00 p.m. on December 6, 2018.
Any bids submitted pursuant to this notice will be publicly opened and read
at a meeting of the Board of Trustees to be held at said Village Hall, 6 Tain Drive
Russell Gardens, New York on December 6, 2018 at 8:15 p.m. The Board of
Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to award the contract in
the best interest of the Village of Russell Gardens. A successful bidder will be
required to furnish an adequate surety bond for the full and faithful performance
of said contract. Each bid must be accompanied by certified check or bid bond in
the sum $500.00 payable to the Village of Russell Gardens.
