Sewanhaka High School students from the Class of 2020, Class of 2021, Class of 2022 and Class of 2023 have been named Advanced Placement Scholars for excelling on the 2020 AP Exams.
Ambia Jamal, Bryan V. Joseph, Rahul Maharjan, Katie R. Montoya and Jordan S. Shamoun earned the National AP Scholar Award for receiving an average score of at least 4 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more exams.
Twenty-seven students earned the AP Scholar with Distinction Award for receiving an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. These students are Mustafid M. Alam, Muttakin M. Alam, Kiana A. Cano, Kevin M. Charles, Fatima Farooq, Anthony I. Gioletti, Michael J. Guglielmo, Madelyne Gutierrez, Syed A. Hussain, Syed M. Ibrahim, Ambia Jamal, Bryan V. Joseph, Keziah M. Joseph, Adil Khalid, Sumaiyah Khan, Lia J. Lopez, Rahul Maharjan, Katie R. Montoya, Harsha Nair, Justin C. Ng, Ann V. Saji, Seher Saleem, Jordan S. Shamoun, Nia Stewart, Insiya H. Sulemanji, Angeli A. Varghese and Steven Xie.
Nineteen students earned the AP Scholar with Honor Award for receiving an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.
