Should anyone wonder what a four-story apartment building complex might look like in our community, all you have to do is drive over the Roslyn Viaduct on Route 25-A/Northern Blvd. and look south.
There you will see the clustered condo community of Roslyn Landing, which is only three stories tall — not the four-story monster proposed for the DeJana industrial lot on Manhasset Isle.
If a request for a massive number of zoning variances is allowed to move forward, the shape of future development on Shore Road and Thypin Forest, as well as on single residential lots, will be set as precedent forever.
