April Holiday Tennis Camp

Tennis players (ages 6 to 17) can up their game Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26, 12 to 4 p.m., when they hone their tennis skills through instruction, games and match play at the Parkwood Tennis Center. Spring Camp Parkwood

Children, ages 5 to 10, will enjoy Spring Camp Parkwood over the April school break. Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Activities include tennis, skating/hockey, archery, gymnastics and more. Lunch may be purchased at the snack bar ($8 per day) or can be brought from home. Residents fee $450; non-residents fee $500. Daily fee for residents $120; non-residents $150. Sunday @ 3 at Great Neck House

The Marcie Passley Duo will perform on Sunday, April 28 at 3 p.m. Passley, a popular singer of Broadway and operatic selections, returns to Great Neck House by popular demand. Bring your park pass for admission to Great Neck House.

Weekend Movie at Great Neck House: “Wildlife” (2018)

Starring Ed Oxenbould, Jake Gyllenhaal and Carey Mulligan, “Wildlife” is playing at Great Neck House on Friday, April 26 at 8 p.m., Saturday, April 27 at 5 and 8 p.m., and Sunday, April 28 at 7:30 p.m. A teenage boy must deal with his mother’s complicated response after his father temporarily abandons them to take a menial and dangerous job. Rated PG-13; runs 1h 35 min. Park pass required for admission to Great Neck House.

Nature Program: Spring at Shu Swamp

On Sunday, April 28 at 11 a.m., take an enchanted stroll through this little known private preserve at Shu Swamp in Mill Neck. Allow for extra travel time. Register by 4/21. Register online at gnparks.org or call 516-482-0355. Children under 16 may not attend.

Camp Parkwood 2019 Registration

Camp Parkwood is designed for each child to attain their personal best while having a seriously fun time. Age appropriate activities (ages 3 and up), optional door-to-door bus service (ages 4+), complimentary towel service and Tweens Travel Program (grades 6 through 8) plus new this summer, Leaders In Training, for ages 14 and 15 and Camp Parkwood Sports Camp option for grades 3 to 5.
