The Reconstructionist Synagogue of the North Shore and the Haber Family are conducting a Thanksgiving Turkey Drive for Nassau County residents (you don’t have to live in Nassau to donate!)
You can help by donating a holiday basket. A basket consists of a frozen turkey (10-14 lbs), 1 bag of fresh carrots,1 bag of fresh potatoes, stuffing (bag or box), 1 can cranberry sauce, 1 can of vegetables, 4 oranges or apples, 1 apple or pumpkin pie (fresh only), 1 bag/box cookies and 1 juice.
Here’s how to help:
* Option 1: Call Holiday Farms Roslyn 516.621.6420 by Monday, Nov. 20th and pay $40 by credit card over the phone. I will pick up and deliver the holiday baskets. Please mention: “Haber Family Turkey Drive.” You can also purchase Holiday Farms gift cards to be donated to families in need.
* Option 2: Drop off your basket (no actual basket needed) or just a frozen turkey on Tuesday, Nov. 21 from 12:00-2:00pm at the Reconstructionist Synagogue of the N. Shore – 1001 Plandome Road, Plandome.
