In celebration of the culmination of their second reading unit, Munsey Park Elementary School students in Joan Dane and Karen Murphy’s classes recently came to school dressed in their pajamas, carrying their favorite stuffed animals, ready to enjoy some winter-themed books, hot chocolate and snowman cookies.

Munsey Park Principal Chad Altman joined in the fun, dressing up as a snowman to read to the students. Former principal Jean Kendall also stopped by to share the joy of reading.

The theme for this reading unit was “Reading is ‘Snow’ Much Fun.”
