The words of Winston S. Churchill then and, if alive, now
On Aug. 20, 1940, during the early dark days of World World II, when Britain stood alone against the Nazis, Winston Churchill proclaimed in a tribute to the Royal Air Force: “Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few.”
I believe what he would proclaim now about the Republican Party is the following:
“Never in the field of American politics has one man intimidated so many with the threat of a single tweet.”
