As the growing season comes to a close, we want to reach out to all of our faithful patrons at the Port Washington Farmers’ Market to say “Thank you” for your strong support this year. The market is a project of our non-profit organization, Grassroots Environmental Education, and the proceeds from the market help fund our projects on pesticides, wireless radiation, chemical toxins and school environments.
Since our founding of the market in 2002 we have endeavored to make available to the residents of Port Washington and the surrounding area fresh, organic, locally grown food, and provide an opportunity for shoppers to get to know the people who grow, bake, make or catch the food they are eating.
On behalf of all of our vendors and our small staff, thank you all for making this season such a success. We look forward to seeing you, your kids and your dogs next year!
