Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia was stripped of committee assignments by the House of Representatives. This was because of her calls for political violence and peddling far-right conspiracy theories. She was kicked off the education and budget committees as reported.
In my opinion The House did the right thing and should have done more. Greene’s comments I found most appalling and destructive to our democracy. She liked a Facebook post that said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi should be executed and claimed school massacres were false flag operations by gun control advocates and questioned whether the Pentagon was hit by a plane on 9/11.
Our representatives did the right thing considering Rep. Greene was out of line and should have been impeached. Remember this: Evil thrives when good people do nothing. Well, the good people in Congress did something right.
