An influential presence (recently honored by Hillary Clinton), Rabbi Sharon Kleinbaum is the firebrand leader of New York’s Congregation Beit Simchat Torah — the country’s largest and best-known LGBTQ synagogue. She will speak about peace, income equality, human rights, issues affecting her congregation, the LGBTQ community and more at The Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 48 Shelter Rock Road in Manhasset, on Feb. 13 at 12:30 p.m. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
