PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: The Port Washington North Village Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Zoning Board Hearing August 5, 2020 at 6:45 PM. Pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order 103 the meeting will be held via video conference and telephone conferencing only and not at Port Washington North Village Hall. The public will have access to the hearing and will be able to participate during the scheduled public hearing. At the hearing anybody who wishes to comment may do so. The public will be able to have access and participate at the hearing by joining the Zoom Meeting with ID: 889-3196-6794 and the password 11050. The purpose of the hearing will to consider the application of J. Christopher Sullivan, as owner and as applicant of the premises located at 159 Cow Neck Road, Port Washington, New York. The Nassau County Tax Map Section is Section 4 Block 116 lot 39. The premises are in Residence A-1 zone. Applicant and owner seek a variance for a proposed deck. Pursuant to Section 176-10, of the Port Washington North Village Code, the rear yard depth of the deck shall not be less than 25 feet, but the proposed rear yard depth is 19.29 feet. The owner/applicant proposed deck would require a variance of approximately 5.71 feet in order to build the proposed deck.
All parties in interest can see and receive copies of the proposed plans which are on file with the Village at Village Hall during normal business hours.
