Our thanks go out to our Nassau County Clerk Maureen O’Connell and her staff who organized another very successful day on Oct. 3 for seniors to receive their yearly flu shots.
So many citizens gave their time – nurses, seniors and other volunteers.
This was an important opportunity for all of us. Many people receive inoculations comfortably this way at the Williston Park American Legion Hall.
Many organizations, including the Chamber of Commerce of the Willistons, which make it possible to receive these shots, enjoy morning coffee, connecting with neighbors and continuing with their busy day.
