North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Council Members Viviana Russell and Lee Seeman, along with the Town’s Project Independence team were proud to host a virtual Thanksgiving celebration on Wednesday, Nov. 18. The gathering was held for members of the PI advisory committees.
The theme of the event was “Thoughts of Gratitude,” and the virtual meeting brought together members from across the Town to share Thanksgiving stories, traditions, and memories.
Project Independence was created in 2009 as an aging-in-place program for the Town’s nearly 60,000 residents over 60.
