Saumya Valasareddi of Albertson, was among the graduates recognized during University of the Sciences’ 197th commencement celebration on Wednesday, May 23.

Valasareddi graduated magna cum laude with a BS in biomedical sciences degree and a minor in psychology.

The following students have been named to Clemson University President’s List at Clemson University. To be named to the President’s List, a student must achieve a 4.0 (all As) grade-point average.

Vincent Francis Devenoge of Manhasset. Devenoge is majoring in Marketing.

Brianna L. Lopes of Roslyn Heights, who is majoring in Nursing

David Leibell of Great Neck has been named to the Dean’s List at Clemson University for the spring 2018 semester.

Leibell is majoring in Political Science.

To be named to the Dean’s List, a student achieved a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.

Morrisville State College recently announced that Joseph Pagan of New Hyde Park was named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2018 semester. Joseph is a major in the Criminal Justice – BTech program.

To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must achieve an average of 3.0 to 3.99 for the semester and complete 12 credit hours.

Alice Gottesman, of Port Washington, recently earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations/Marketing Communications cum laude from Simmons College in Boston. Gottesman also was named to the 2018 spring semester dean’s list at Simmons College in Boston.

Nearly 500 students graduated from Union College on Sunday, June 17 during the College’s 224th Commencement exercises.

Kabir Chabra, of Port Washington, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Political Science.

Charlotte Tanenbaum, of Sands Point graduated with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Psychology.

Brandon Teich, of Great Neck graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in History.

Ankoor Talwar, of Roslyn received a Bachelor of Science degree magna cum laude, majoring in Leadership in Medicine.

Whitney Tam of New Hyde Park has been named to the University of Delaware’s Dean’s List for the Spring 2018 semester.

To meet eligibility requirements for the Dean’s List, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.33 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the semester.

Morven Whalley, of Manhasset has been placed on the Gettysburg College Dean’s Honor list for outstanding academic achievement in the Spring 2018 semester.

Students with a quality point average of 3.60 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) for a semester’s work are placed on the College’s Dean’s Honor List.

Lance Tennenbaum of Manhasset has been placed on the Deans’ Commendation List for outstanding academic achievement in the Spring 2018 semester.

Political Science.

* Danielle Soviero, of Port Washington, earned a B.A. in English.

* Claudia Hammonds Varner, of Port Washington, earned a B.S. in

Psychology.

Julia M. Gonzalez of Port Washington was recently named to the highly selective Dean’s List at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2017-18 academic year. Gonzalez is one of 438 Colby students-or 23 percent of the qualified student body-to qualify for the Dean’s List last semester.

Gonzalez, a member of the Class of 2020, attended Waldorf School of Garden City and is the daughter of Ann Mulvehill of Port Washington and Rene Gonzalez of Freeport.

Aida Milcetic of Manhasset was among the graduate students recognized for academic achievement at The University of Scranton‘s post-baccalaureate degree commencement, which was held on May 26 on campus.

Springfield College has named Taylor Barnard of New Hyde Park and Elias Kokalis of Great Nec to the dean’s list for academic excellence for the spring 2018 term.

Katharine Hoops, of Williston Park graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Becker College.

Wilkes University announced the Dean’s List for the spring 2018 semester include Sarah Weynand of Albertson.
