Louie Patrizi, a BS student from New Hyde Park, and Seth Levine, an MS student from Great Neck, who are both studying computer science, completed the fifth ETIC Cybersecurity Hackathon at New York Institute of Technology’s Entrepreneurship and Technology Innovation Center.

Both teams had to break the first code in order to unlock the next challenge, and the 15 problems became increasingly difficult as the teams advanced in the competition. Time was called after six hours, and the winning teams were those who had correctly solved the most problems.

On May 16, 56 nursing students, including Sheeba George and Lydia Thomas of New Hyde Park, were welcomed into the profession with a pinning ceremony.
