L.I. builders add 8 to Hall of Fame

The Island Now

The Long Island Builders Institute recently inducted eight individuals into its hall of fame at a ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at the Woodbury Country Club.
The inductees were David Scro, Michael Dubb, Lois Fricke, Henry Klar, David Sloane, Mike Souto, John Ratto and Sigmund Spiegel.
“All of these individuals are the cream of the crop of LIBI members who, over the years, have accomplished so much in their careers,” Mitchell H. Pally, LIBI chief executive officer, said.  “It was an honor to be part of such a great evening.”
Each inductee played a major role in the development of the real estate industry on Long Island, according to a press release from the Long Island Builders Institute.
“For over 75 years, the Long Island Builders Institute has led the way in the development of single family, multi-family and mixed use developments across Long Island, providing a home for millions of Long Islanders,” Brian Ferruggiari of AVR Realty and President of LIBI said.  “The eight individuals added to our Hall of Fame have played major roles in meaningful real estate development throughout the years — including the building, marketing and selling of many Long Island homes.”
