Thursday, Sept. 5; 6:30 p.m.: Author Event – “1964-1965 New York World’s Fair” by Bill Cotter. Back by popular demand. Bill Cotter was here in May to discuss his book “The 1939-1940 New York World’s Fair.” Now join him for a look at the 1964-1965 New York World’s Fair. Guests could travel back in time through a display of full-sized dinosaurs, or look into a future where underwater hotels and flying cars were commonplace. Learn more about the fair or share your own memories. Books will be available for purchase and signing. $20 per copy for black and white publications and $21 for color, cash only. Children’s programs

Mondays, Sept. 3 to Sept. 24; 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.: Baby Sign Language 101. Ages birth and up with adult. Discover the many benefits of signing with your hearing baby. Learn over 80 simple signs that will help your child to communicate more clearly. Expectant parents welcome. No experience necessary. Limit 15 families. You are signing up for all four sessions.
