On June 10, Emily (Emi) Schaufeld, a resident of Thomaston, will complete her 13th year of perfect attendance in the Great Neck Public School District.
Beginning in kindergarten, Emi has never missed a day of school and has not been deterred by sickness, weather or family vacation.
Emi appeared in Newsday’s “Way to Go” column in 2006 for creating and hosting a television news show for kids on the Great Neck/North Shore Public Access Television.
PATV is proud of Emi’s accomplishments in the TeenTV project and for being an award winning director of a LIVE TeenTV show.
Everyone at PATV wishes Emi the best in fall when she will be attending New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in the Maurice Kanbar Institute of Undergraduate Film & Television. We know she will always “show up” and be brilliant!
