State Assemblyman Ed Ra (R-Franklin Square) recently congratulated some talented students from the Wheatley School on their impressive achievement of being recognized as scholars in the 2021 Regeneron Science Talent Search.

Lucy Zha is a finalist. Victor Li, Anya Chabria and Manav Bansal were selected as semi-finalists.

“There were over 1,700 applicants from hundreds of high schools across 49 states. For these local students to shine is a credit to their ingenuity and talent. Their projects advanced healthcare solutions, analyzed fractal geometry and bridged gaps between STEM and the humanities. Imagine what they’re going to do after college! I’m proud of them. I’m thankful for the efforts of their teachers and appreciative for the support they received from their families,” said Ra.
