Levels 45th Birthday Picnic at Kings Point Park

Teens in 7th grade and up are invited to celebrate 45 years of Levels, the Great Neck Library’s Teen Center on Saturday, June 29 from 12 to 5 p.m. at Kings Point Park.
There will be food, softball, Frisbee and more. The event is free of charge, but food will be sold at cost. This event takes place at Kings Point Park at the Steamboat Road Entrance, Great Neck. Contact Levels for more info: levels@greatnecklibrary.org.

Paintings by Catherine Abrams in the Main Library Gallery

Artist Catherine Abrams will exhibit two series of her paintings from July 1 to 31 in the Main Library Gallery, 159 Bayview Ave. These are Landscape Meltdown: A commentary on climate change, and Refugee: Focusing on the migration of refugees to Europe. Abrams’ recent artworks are paintings using inks, acrylic and oil pigments to create visual comments on climate change and current social issues.

The Main Library and Parkville Branch will be closed on Sundays for the summer beginning
June 16 until mid-September.
