Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth attended the flag raising ceremony in recognition of India Independence Day on Aug. 15 at the Nassau County Executive & Legislative Building.
The event was hosted by County Executive Laura Curran and Nassau County Legislator Ellen Birnbaum and commemorated India’s Independence Day with a flag raising ceremony, patriotic songs and honored member of the Indian American community.
