On Monday, July 29, Assemblyman Anthony D’Urso joined the Town of North Hempstead at the town’s annual senior health fair, held at the North Hempstead Beach Park.
The event provides an opportunity for residents to obtain information and advice from a diverse group of medical professionals. Services provided at the senior health fair include medical screenings and referrals for those in search of assistance.
“It was a pleasure to attend the event as it is always highly attended and gives the residents of my assembly district and North Hempstead the opportunity to utilize the resources and services, they need to maintain healthy habits,” said D’Urso. “My office staffed a table with information about how to keep safe in the sun and provided screenings on skin damage.
