Legal Notice Annual Election Bellerose Terrace Fire District December 08, 2020Please take notice, that the Annual Election of the Bellerose Terrace Fire District will take place on December 08, 2020 between the hours of 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm at the Fire Headquarters, 94-43 243rd Street, Bellerose Terrace, NY 11001, for the purpose of electing (1) Commissioner for a five (5) year term commencing January 1, 2021 and ending December 31, 2025 Registered voters residing in the Bellerose Terrace Fire District shall be eligible to vote. Residents must be registered to vote with the Nassau County Board of Elections twenty-three (23) days before December 08, 2020 in order to be eligible to vote.†Please take further notice, that the Candidates for District office shall file their names in petition form with the Secretary of the Bellerose Terrace Fire District at the Fire Headquarters, 94-43 243rd Street, Bellerose Terrace, NY 11001 on or before November 24, 2020.† To be eligible a candidate must submit petitions sworn to by at least twenty-five (25) resident electors of the Bellerose Terrace Fire District. Candidate petitions are available through the Fire District Secretary, Wendy Hiken, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:30 to 5:30 at (516) 458-1470.
