Assemblyman Anthony D’Urso recently attended Aging in Place in Suburbia Conference and Expo held at The Inn at New Hyde Park sponsored by the Town of North Hempstead’s Project Independence which brings together local health care providers, human service agencies, social educational and recreational programs and local businesses to assist seniors to be able to stay in their homes.

At the day-long event the assemblyman, many agencies and community partners had tables with information for seniors and their caregivers on various topics which can enable seniors to live independently, be socially active and maintain their health.
