On May 21, Michael Cartusciello, senior assistant director of admissions at Adelphi University, was presented the New Jersey Association for College Admission Counseling’s Admissions Representative of the Year award.

Cartusciello, from Brooklyn, joined Adelphi in 2014. He is an active member on the NJACAC board and recruits prospective students in New Jersey.

The NJACAC is the state’s affiliate of the National Association for College Admission Counseling. NJACAC is made up of 1,200+ professionals dedicated to the goal of helping students transition from high school to college.

“We’re incredibly proud of Michael and he is very deserving of this award,” said Stephanie Espina, director of undergraduate admissions at Adelphi. “As the enrollment counselor who oversees recruitment in the state of New Jersey, Michael’s active NJACAC executive board involvement adds additional exposure for Adelphi in this primary admissions recruitment territory.”
