A celebration of making music with Long Island families

15 Years of Making Music Together with Long Island Families

While They’re Little, which is celebrating making Music Together classes for families on Long Island for the past 15 years, will hold a family concert on Sunday, March 10, 2 p.m., at the Ethical Humanist Society (38 Old Country Road in Garden City).

“I began this company as a licensed Music Together teacher/director in Great Neck in the Fall of 2003,” says owner Judy Leff. “Over the years, my teachers and I have impacted the lives of several thousands of families with children of all abilities in Great Neck, Port Washington, New Hyde Park and other Nassau County towns, by helping them understand how to recognize and support music development in their children. We also bring this wonderful program to school/childcare settings and senior residences.

While They’re Little has invited all of their families — past and present — to join this special event. All proceeds from the ticket sales will go to Family & Children’s Association, a local organization that assists under-served families on Long Island.
