A bleeding Williston Park woman was arrested early last Thursday morning for allegedly breaking into a Williston Park office complex, smashing windows and office equipment – and  then calling police to report her break in.

Nassau County Police 3rd Squad Detectives said a police officer responding to a 911 call about a break in at 99 Hillside Ave. in Williston Park on Jan. 18 at 3:50 a.m. encountered Carmen Gonzalez, 31, of 65 Hillside Ave. Apt 1, in front of the office complex.

Police said an initial investigation by officers revealed that Gonzalez, was the person who called 911 and the person responsible for breaking an exterior window and entering Suite 99T. Police also a subsequent investigation revealed that Gonzalez, after entering the building, broke into two other vacant suites causing damage to each office by breaking glass and damaging office equipment.

Vincent Dejana, landlord of the building at 99 Hillside Ave., said the woman had apparently broken into a first floor doctor’s office and continued going through the building. He said she had been arrested by the time he arrived at the scene on Thursday morning.

“There was blood and broken glass all over the place,” Dejana said.

Gonzalez is charged with three  counts of burglary 3rd degree and resisting arrest. She was arraigned in 1st District Court in Hempstead on Jan. 19.
