I would like to commend the wonderful work of the Williston Park Sanitation Department.
They were out day and night to clean up all the trees and still had time to collect the garbage. The Fire Department and Emergency Service worked 24/7 answering calls and fighting fires. They still had to direct traffic for the gas station so no one would block their driveway. What a tribute to our village.
The mayor was out checking up on the work that was being done. He tried to field as many questions as he could. Unfortunately LIPA was not giving him much help.
