While we appreciate donations, please make sure they are in good condition (not discolored, water or smoke damaged) and please do not put them in the book returns. We will accept donations during regular business hours.

Our Daily Hours Are:

Browsing &Vestibule Pick-Up: Monday-Friday: 10am-5:30pm and Saturday: 10am-4pm

“Open for Browsing” means you can come inside, walk around the Library, and look for books and other items. Please limit your time to 1 hour. Only one family at a time will be permitted in the Children’s Room.

Items requested over the phone can be picked up in the Library vestibule.

Please maintain social distancing practices while in the Library.

All customers and staff are required to wear face coverings at all times while in the Library, per Executive Order 202.17. Face coverings must cover both your mouth and nose.

Congregating is not permitted.

Three computers are available for public use for a limit of 30 minutes.

Library items may now be returned inside the library

Adult Programs
ELL Fall Class Registration—Friday—September 17—10 am-2 pm in the Assembly Room of Village Hall. Classes will be held September 27-December 17. To make an appointment, call 516-867-3580 or go to www.literacynassau.org/appointment
Reiki—Thursdays—September 23; October 7 & 21—6 pm in the Assembly Room of Village Hall.
Book Club—Wednesday—September 29—7 pm. Copies of Woman in the Window are available at the Circulation Desk.
Take & Make Ceramic “Home”—available for pick up the week of September 27. $12 each
Great Give Back—Saturday—October 16-30. The library is partnering with LI Cares and will be collecting donations of pet food and pet supplies.
Assemblywoman Gina Sillitti Mobile Office Hours—Thursday—October 21—10 am -Noon in the Assembly Room of Village Hall.

Children’s Programs
Take & Make Ceramic Skull Bank—available for pick up the week of September 27. $12 each

Come into the Library for a free children’s craft every Monday for Take and Make Mondays.
