Westbury to get all shook up on Aug. 23

The Island Now

The King Lives.

The Elvis Tribute Artist Spectacular will be at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury on Saturday, Aug. 23 at 8 p.m. Come honor the King at this annual concert celebrating the era by era musical career of Elvis Presley.

The Elvis Tribute Spectacular is not only a concert – it is an Elvis tribute show – featuring Elvis’ greatest hits throughout the years preformed by top tribute artists.

From the early rockabilly and military years, to his time in the movies, to the amazing 1968 comeback special and the black leather jumpsuit, to his Las Vegas concert era – nothing is left out!

As seen on The Late Show with David Letterman, the show stars Shawn Klush, Elvis Presley Enterprises’ first-ever Ultimate Tribute Winner, and Cody Ray Slaughter, EPE’s youngest Ultimate Tribute Winner; Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famer DJ Fontana, Elvis’ original drummer for 14 years who played on more than 460 RCA cuts with Elvis; and The Sweet Inspirations, Elvis’ original back-up singers from the ‘70s Vegas Years and Long Island’s own Elvis Tribute Artist Steve Mitchell – all backed by The Fabulous Ambassadors Band.

Tickets are $40 and $50 plus applicable service charges and are available online at www.ticketmaster.com, charge by phone at (800) 745-3000 or at the Westbury box office.  Event, date and time are subject to change. For more information, visit: www.thetheatreatwestbury.com.
