Kenneth Weigand was sworn in as Manhasset Park District Commissioner by Judge Robert Morici on Jan. 8 for his second three-year term.
Weigand joins Commissioners Mark Sauvigne and David Paterson as they continue to create additional parking for commuters, shoppers and merchants.
Under the combined leadership of all three commissioners, the Manhasset Park District continues to expand commuter parking while remaining under the established tax cap.
With a joined effort of the Town of North Hempstead, the Council of Greater Manhasset Civic Associations and the Manhasset Park District, residents should look forward to an expansion of lot No. 3 in 2018 to add 16 additional commuter spaces.
