It is not often you have the opportunity to support someone you think can actually make a difference. Nor is it common for a successful businessman to venture into politics with a completely independent voice and no personal agenda.
Adam Haber, Democrat for Nassau County executive, is such a man. I am publicly supporting Adam because I have witnessed his excellent performance as a member of the Roslyn Public Schools’ Board of Education and his incredible success in the private sector.
I have heard Adam speak on numerous occasions about implementing feasible plans to support our schools, grow jobs, protect women’s rights, improve public safety, and control our real estate taxes through the growth and expansion of industry and residential development on Long Island. His ideas are fresh, forward thinking and realistic.
Personally, I believe current and/or past Nassau County political leaders have already had an opportunity to serve. It is time to give someone else the chance to bring innovation to Nassau County for future generations. Adam is a practical, pragmatic businessman who understands the distressed economic state of Nassau County and wants to fix it. Adam Haber should be that man.
