Village of Roslyn hosting Clock Tower Trot

The Island Now

The Clock Tower Trot, a 4K and 2K run/walk, will take place Sunday, Oct. 27 at 8 a.m. The scenic 4K runs along a beautiful stretch of Hempstead Harbor, past dozens of historic homes from 19th and early 20th centuries (including circa 1680 Van Nostrand-Starkins House), beautiful Gerry Park and, of course, the famous Roslyn Clock Tower.

Medals will be awarded to the top finishers in various age categories and the race will feature state-of-the-art timing by Island Timing.

Police controlled routes, post race refreshments, T-shirts and race prizes will also be provided.  T-Shirts are guaranteed to the first 100 entries and while supplies last for day of race applicants.

Registration online at www.clocktowertrot.com or the day of the race at the starting line, located at 55 Lumber Road in Roslyn. The cost is $20 for the 4K Fun Run/Walk, $25 the day of race and includes participant bib and T-Shirt.

The 2K Fun Run/Walk  is $10, $15 the day of race and also includes participant bib and T-Shirt.

The trot is sponsored by The Rallye Group, Long Island Fitness & Training and the Incorporated Village of Roslyn.
