Upcoming events at the Hillside Public Library

The Island Now

The Hillside Public Library will be sponsoring a series of Career Workshops beginning on February 7. The first will be “How to build a resume”. Learn the basics of resume writing with Microsoft Word and Google Docs: what to include, what to leave out, and how to tailor your resume for each job application. We’ll talk about writing cover letters and the importance of thank you letters.

Also, beginning February 8, patrons can make an appointment, either in person or virtually with a librarian, to get feedback or update their resumes. Each month, the different workshops would be published.
