In our community, we are blessed to have some people who passionately care about the issues of mutual concern to all of us, who attend every meeting emanating from these concerns, who carefully research the issues, and who bring intelligent commentary to the attention of our community. Karen Rubin is exemplary and ever present as an educator for those who can’t always attend meetings. To see her attacked by those who do not attend, do not research and attack not on the basis of the issue, but on the basis of a repetition of misinformation that’s slung about in a scurrilous manner. I was delighted to see Ms. Rubin’s, cogent response. She has my respect and admiration for the excellence of her articles.
