The North Hempstead Town Council on Tuesday approved two parking ordinances in New Hyde Park and set public hearings for two others concerning parking in Great Neck.
Council members approved a “No Stopping Any Time” restriction on the west side of Lakeville Road and the north and south sides of Imperial Avenue, west of Denton Avenue, in New Hyde Park.
An additional “No Stopping Here To Corner” sign will be placed on the west side of Denton Ave., north of Imperial Ave.
In Great Neck, the council set a May 12 hearing to establish “No Parking 10 p.m. To 6 a.m.” restrictions on the south side of Bates Road, west of Horace Harding Boulevard, and on the northwest side of Horace Harding Boulevard, southwest of Bates Road.
Additionally, a June 2 public hearing was set to determine whether to establish a “No Stopping At Any Time” restriction on Clair Street.
