Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Council Members Veronica Lurvey unveiled a new plaque during a dedication ceremony at Manhasset Valley Park on April 7. The newly installed plaque thanks all of the individuals who helped contribute funds to renovate the park. Names included: Roger Coleman (Community Lead), Margo Coleman, Aimee & Ryan Melkonian, Robin & Jon Camera, Lorraine & Dan Cataldo, Irene & Gus Kapetanos, Kelly & Joe Cacioppo, Chris & Bill Allen, Amy & Gary Hill, Catrina & Rob Moy, Betty & Mark Matroni, Christina & Keiran Ahern, Heather & John McCuster, Daniele & Anthony Cacioppo, Vicky & Nikolaos Mouhlas, Diane Piranian, Ruth & James Brown, Bill (Ace) Miller, Frank Coughlin, George Torpe, Mike Lyons, Brian Reilly, Jimmy Judge, Richard Bentley, Kenneth Molloy and James Molloy.
