Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Council Member Angelo Ferrara, along with Town Clerk Wayne Wink, attended a fundraiser for the Semper Fi Fund organized by the American Legion Post 144 and the Marine Corps League (Detachment 614) on Nov. 3 at the American Legion Post 144. Also in attendance were U.S. Congressman Tom Suozzi, New York State Senator Elaine Phillips and Nassau County Executive Laura Curran.
The Semper Fi Fund provide immediate financial assistance and lifetime support for wounded, critically ill and injured members of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families.
