Town brings back a fall favorite

North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Board have announced the return of a favorite fall event, Autumn Treat. Autumn Treat will take place Thursday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. at the Harbor Links Clubhouse in Port Washington.

The event will have musical entertainment by the New Vintage Orchestra performing classic standards with vocalists, followed by Conga performing the music of Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine.

Following the performance there will be an assortment of delicious desserts. All attendees will be treated to a large array of cookies, cakes, ice cream, coffees, teas, apple cider and more savory items that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. A cash bar will also be available.

Tickets are $15. Make checks payable to Harbor Links and mail to Autumn Treat, North Hempstead Parks and Recreation, 1801 Evergreen Ave., New Hyde Park.
