One thing that stands out about my Dad’s campaign platform for parks commissioner is the idea of “tapping synergies” between our schools, libraries and town.
This seems like a very sensible approach in order to offer the best programming and services in the most cost-effective way possible. It also reinforces who we are as a community.
My Dad will draw upon his good relationships in the libraries, schools, town and villages and other special organizations that so enrich our community, such as the Great Neck Arts Centers and Levels.
Special district elections are important because they give us the opportunity to choose who makes the decisions for locally-based services.
Vote Tuesday, Dec. 10!
