2 The Musical Box Premieres: A Genesis Extravaganza

3 ‘West Side Story’ in Concert

“Something’s Coming” to the Madison Theatre and it’s this award-winning musical inspired by Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet,” as a young man and woman who are each related to two opposing New York City gangs fall in love while singing the classic songs “Maria,” “Somewhere,” and “Tonight.”

Echoes — 60th Anniversary Exhibit and Artists’ Reception

To celebrate its 60th anniversary, the Long Island Craft Guild will present a special exhibition, “Echoes,” in which artists used a variety of materials to create art that echoes of personal experiences and inspirations.  The afternoon will feature a gallery talk at 2 p.m., followed by an artists’ reception at 3:30 p.m.
