John Lewis Childs School students entertained parents and family members with their musical talents when the school hosted its annual Spring Concert.

The event kicked off with the orchestra performing “A Beethoven Lullaby,” “Medieval Kings” and “Power Rock” to perfection. It continued with an upbeat song selection by the third and fourth-grade chorus and a stellar performance by the school band.

The fifth and sixth-grade chorus led with a cheerful rendition of “Y’all Come,” followed by “The Water is Wide” and “4 Chords (a choral medley), featuring student-soloists. The school’s Snazzie Jazzies wrapped up the show with a cool rendition of “Made in the Shade” and “Sanford and Son.”

Principal Susan Fazio and Assistant Principal Kristina Lynch commended the students for their outstanding musical performances and all the hard work put into learning their musical selections.
