Hillside Grade School sixth-graders in Eileen Prymaczek’s class participated in the Hour of Code on Dec. 9.
The Hour of Code is designed to demystify coding, show that anyone can learn the basics and broaden participation in the field of computer science. It takes place each year during Computer Science Education Week, held this year Dec. 7-13.
Students earned the time to work on the Hour of Code as part of the school’s Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports Program.
