Presenters included Holocaust survivors Werner Reich and Eric Lipetz, and Assemblyman Anthony D’Urso, whose family sheltered Jewish families in Italy during the Holocaust.

In addition to their messages of courage and kindness, school guests spoke about their life experiences, which tie into the English and Social Studies curriculum for sixth and eighth graders.
