South High School will present an evening of chamber music on Thursday, Feb. 13, at 7:30 p.m., at the school, 341 Lakeville Rd. This event will feature four ensembles from the South High chamber music program.
Selections will include: Drew Kim, Sabastian Lennox, and Brayden Chien performing Trio No. 1 in B-Flat Major, opus 37, by Ignaz Lachner; Ethan Jiang, Shalin Madan, and Mia Wang performing Piano Trio No. 1 in E Minor, an original piece by Ethan Jang; Jillian Chang, Dana Siong Sin, Sidney Wong, and Dayoung Yu performing Quartet No. 2 in D Major for Strings by Alexander Borodin; and Eli Goldberger and Benjamin Rossen performing Grand Duo Concertant, J204, opus 48, by Carl Maria von Weber.
Event coordinators/directors are Michael Schwartz, performing arts department head/instrumental music teacher, and Dr. Janine Robinson, vocal music teacher.
