Sewanhaka High School business students were audience members for “The People’s Court,” starring Honorable Judge Marilyn Milian, on Dec. 17.

Students witnessed several real-life cases, including a mechanic accused of using faulty parts on the plaintiff’s car, angry neighbors battling over parking and property lines, a loose shopping cart that caused damage to the plaintiff’s vehicle and a divorced couple arguing over grant money and credit card points.

After hearing the cases, the students were able to ask Judge Milian questions about her life and career. They reportedly had a wonderful time and look forward to returning next year.
