As I was reading the article concerning Sewanhaka Central District Bond proposal.
It seems that the district voters had spoken by voting, but yet we are going to the polls once again because why?
Perhaps because we didn’t get what we wanted. Or perhaps we don’t like the word no.
But I can say that spending money on advertising isn’t very good management.
I mean for example that $10,000 could be spent for supplies to have started to do some work by in-house maintenance personnel or even tools or equipment that would be needed for future repairs.
This isn’t a good economic environment to be requesting money.
When there are people in the district whom are out of work or are having a very hard time keeping there home. The numbers will only go higher every year as interest and future budgets add to he burden.
The district needs to come up with more cost effective ideas. Before anyone can say yes we really need these improvements.
