Broadway Commons (www.atbroadwaycommons.com) – located in Hicksville, New York – is pleased to announce that Selfie Clubhouse will be opening on Wednesday, Aug. 25 at 11 a.m. at the popular Long Island retail and entertainment destination.
Its first location in New York, Selfie Clubhouse offers over 30 creatively designed backdrops for photos and video needs that provide an environment for creatives, bloggers, families and friends, to express themselves on camera in front of uniquely themed backgrounds.
“The opening of Selfie Clubhouse provides the perfect entertainment concept for families to immerse themselves in fun, eye-catching, interactive art exhibits that will take any Instagram photo and TikTok video to the next level,” explains Amaka Oweazim-Muir, Senior Marketing Director at Broadway. “It is a great concept that we are so excited for guests to experience.”
The owners Kalechi and Linda Noel, are both professional photographers and videographers that came up with the idea during the pandemic after observing their two daughters’ love and infatuation with choreographed dance routines on TikTok. “We realized there was a dire need on Long Island for an attraction like ours and the vision manifested and came to life,” says Kalechi Noel, owner of Selfie Clubhouse.
Selfie Clubhouse has over 30 backdrops and will change themes and interactions every season to keep up with new trends and keep the exhibits new and fresh. Some of the theme exhibits include a flower photo booth, glam room, royal throne, a NYC train, a life-size cereal bowl, and much more. In addition to private photography shoots and content creation, Selfie Clubhouse is also available for private parties and corporate functions.
General admission tickets will cost $35 and children 12 and under can get in for $20. Guests who purchase tickets are allowed to utilize the entire space for up to an hour to take as many pictures with their phone or a personal camera. In addition, they are given the opportunity to have professional pictures taken by Selfie Clubhouse professional photographers for an additional fee.
