The Island Now

The Rotary Club of Great Neck is dedicating the first of two recently planted trees, this one in honor of recently departed Rotarian Arnold Swartz, at the green strip adjacent to the parking lot on Maple Drive at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 23.

There will be a brief ceremony hosted by current Great Neck Rotary President Lidia Epel. This event is in keeping with Rotary International’s project of every club planting at least one tree every year.  The Rotary Club of Great Neck planted three trees this year.
